How do I bring my gun into Canada?

Where do I fly?
All hunters fly into Saskatoon International Airport. Once arrived in Saskatoon Airport you must rent a vehicle and drive to camp. For airport information and vehicle rentals click here www.yxe.ca
What is your deposit policy for bookings?
We require a 50% deposit within 2 weeks of booking to secure your place and hunting dates.
What is the hunting method ?
We have everyone in there stands for 3 pm bear hunts are more productive in the evening, however if we check our trail cameras and we have a big bear hitting the bait site in the morning we will do a morning hunt .
What type of weapon can i bring on my trip ?
Archery/Rifle/Muzzloader
Do the guides take care of my trophy after it is harvested ?
All guides will skin and cape your trophy and have it froze and ready for your departure of your hunt
What if I wound a bear? Can I keep hunting to try and harvest another bear ?
If a client is to wound a bear and the guide cannot find the trophy the client can continue hunting but there is $1,000.00 extra charge if client wounds or harvest another bear. We do this to manage our area so clients will take there time to make a good clean kill to keep producing quality black bears.
Is there any color phase black bears in the hunting area ?
Yes there are several color phase black bears in our area.
What months are the combo hunts taken place ?
The waterfowl/Black Bear combo hunts are taken place the first 2 weeks of September.
When do we hunt waterfowl ?
We hunt Canada geese and ducks in the morning and then we hunt black bear in the afternoon.
Is Fishing available to clients while on there hunt?
There are several lakes in and near the hunting area that produce great walleye and northern pike fishing there are also great trout streams for fly fishing rainbow trout and splake .
Do we have to bring are own fishing tackle and rods ? We do have spinning rods and tackle for clients to use free of charge if you are a fly fisherman or have your own gear you are more than welcome to bring your own gear.
